Artistry by Jocelynn reserves the right to reject your order if we know or suspect that you intend to resell or copy any of our products as a part of a commercial or personal business. By using our website, you accept and agree to our Privacy Policy.

At Artistry by Jocelynn we do our best, but we cannot guarantee that the colours shown on the website exactly reproduce the colours of our products. This may depend on the colour reproduction of your computer screen or mobile device.

Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, copyright in the information and images or artwork prints on this website, extending to all Social Media, is owned by or licenced to Artistry by Jocelynn. This website and the content of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, or otherwise exploited for any purpose, unless specifically authorised by law or in writing by Artistry by Jocelynn.

For commissioned pieces, the copyright remains with the artist, Jocelyn Ng, unless the copyright for the artwork is signed over to the person or company who commissioned it.

Copyright and Original Works of Art

Buying an original painting, assumes that you buy the physical object to have and enjoy. You own the artwork, not the copyright to it.

The copyright remains with Artistry by Jocelynn unless:

  • They specifically signed over their copyright to the buyer.

  • The copyright has expired.

Unless one of these circumstances applies, original piece buyer does not automatically acquire the right to reproduce a painting as prints, cards, posters, on clothing, etc, when they purchase a painting – you are acquiring the right to own and enjoy the item but not the right to reproduce it.

This contract is governed by the laws of Australia and such other laws which are applicable in the country where the consumer is resident.

Payment

All transactions will be processed in AU Dollars and the checkout page will default to AU Dollars regardless of your shopping currency. The currency conversion may be displayed for guidance only and may differ to the conversion rate charged by your credit card issuer.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. All information collected by Artistry by Jocelynn on this website is only used for the purpose of processing your order and enhancing our customer service. Under no circumstances will information ever be given or sold to a third party, nor will we ever record any billing details.

 

Returns

Artistry by Jocelynn offers a seven (7) day money back guarantee on all artwork. In the event that your purchase does not meet your expectations, you may return it within seven (7) days of delivery/attempted delivery. We will issue you a full refund or credit on the purchase price of the art, but you will be liable for the return shipping.

You must ensure that the artwork is securely packaged for return shipping.  There are no returns on special orders or orders shipped outside of Australia.  We will not accept returns for items that have been damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging.  If this is found to be the case, the item will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Conditions of Returns

  • Customer is liable for the cost of the return shipping.

  • Original artwork cannot be returned.

  • Commissioned artwork cannot be returned.

  • Limited edition prints and photographs cannot be returned as they are printed on demand and the printing costs cannot be recovered.

  • Artworks that have been removed from their original frames cannot be returned.

Returns Process

  • Email us within seven (7) days of delivery/attempted delivery of your artwork, stating your reason for wishing to return the item.

  • We will email you and provide a return address and request that you organise return shipment within seven (7) days.

  • Print out our email and include it with the artwork being returned.

  • We will refund your purchase after the artist has received and inspected the condition of the returned item.

  • Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days to process refunds.
